Friday!! I always feel a sense of accomplishment when we make it to Friday, AND I love the fact that my husband gets to be safe at home with us for the weekend. It’s my favorite.
I’ve been having a hard time getting to know my new oven and the way the heat works on it. I’ve had a few things not turn out, but then yesterday I got up and I was determined to find success with it and sure enough, everything I made was GOLDEN yesterday. It takes a lot longer to heat things, so I learnt to let it preheat longer than when the timer goes off. Every oven is very different in the way the heat works.
This is another recipe that if you use a different size cookie scoop than the one in the recipe your timing and success will be off. So, make sure you are using a 2-1/2-inch cookie scoop. They make a really nice size cookie. With running my pie shop, I love this size scoop because the size is just right for 1 cookie a person.
The touch of cinnamon in this recipe really add a nice flavor to these. You can also very these cookies by adding chocolate chips or even raisins.
